Gather in the University of Mississippi Circle with the Student Activities Association on Wednesday (Dec. 2) for a fun-filled evening celebrating a Hotty Toddy Christmas.

The fun begins at 6 p.m. on the Circle in front of the Lyceum for the annual lighting of the university Christmas tree. Special guests at this year’s tree lighting will be Acting Chancellor Morris Stocks and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Brandi Hephner LaBanc.

The Ole Miss Gospel Choir and Carol Coker, Miss University 2016, will provide festive music for the event.

Following the tree lighting, everyone is invited to the Ole Miss Student Union for free hot chocolate, cookies and pizza provided by Papa John’s. Ice skating will be available outside the Union on the Labyrinth. Everyone also has an opportunity to take photos with Santa inside the Union.

At 7:30 p.m., Coker and Heather Neilson, 2015 homecoming queen, will read holiday stories in the Student Union lobby.
