University of Mississippi Chancellor Robert Khayat and Holmes Community College President Glenn Boyce are to sign an agreement creating a joint venture at the Holmes-Grenada Center campus at 9 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 8). The ceremony is set for the Grenada Center administrative offices at 1060 Avent Drive.

Beginning in January, with registration for the spring 2008 semester at the Holmes-Grenada Center campus, the venture will enable area students to enroll in graduate-level education courses taught by UM faculty. Eventually, juniorand senior-level courses are to be added.

Following a brief signing ceremony, both Khayat and Boyce will be available to answer questions.
