It’s that time of year! The Double Decker Arts Festival will bring our little Oxford town to life this weekend for the 20th year, with more than 100 art vendors, plenty of food and live music. Here are some things to keep in mind as you prepare for the fun-filled weekend:

Art Demonstrations

Double Decker begins Friday with several art demonstrations at 11 a.m. on the Square.

Live Music

Cap off your Friday on the Square with a live music and a broadcast of “Thacker Mountain Radio” beginning at 6 p.m. Enjoy more live music throughout the day Saturday, starting bright and early at 10:15 a.m. For the full schedule, click here.

Children’s Square Fair

Bring the kids to enjoy their own celebration of food, arts and music at the Chancery Courthouse parking lot. Meet Ole Miss athletes, and visit with Miss University who will be collecting books to donate to the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children. Click here for the schedule of events.

Parking

Due to the massive amount of food and art vendors, the Square will be closed to all vehicles Saturday. Limited parking is available near the Square, but a better option may be the shuttle. Park-and-Ride shuttle service will be available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday from Oxford High School to the Square for $5 per person.

Baseball

The Ole Miss Rebels will take on Alabama in a three-game series this weekend beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Following the Friday game, there will be fireworks, so be sure to bring the whole family to cheer on our Diamond Rebs!

Softball

The Ole Miss Rebels softball team will face South Carolina in a series this weekend, beginning at 6 p.m. Friday.

Grove Concert

A busy weekend in Oxford just wouldn’t be complete without the Grove. Enjoy a free concert at the Grove stage featuring Thomas Rhett, Iron and Wine, and Love and Theft at 4 p.m. Sunday.
