Constitutionality of Vaccine Mandates Topic for UM Lecture

OXFORD, Miss. – The director of the Mississippi Justice Institute is set to discuss the constitutionality of vaccine mandates Monday (Sept. 27) at the University of Mississippi.

Aaron Rice is addressing the topic, “Is a Federal Vaccine Mandate Constitutional?” The free event, which begins at 4 p.m. in the Gertrude C. Ford Ole Miss Student Union Auditorium, Room 124, is sponsored by the university’s Declaration of Independence Center for the Study of American Freedom.

The Mississippi Justice Institute is part of the Mississippi Center for Public Policy. Rice, who served as a U.S. Marine in Iraq, earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Mississippi State University and his Juris Doctor from the Ole Miss School of Law, where he developed an interest in constitutional law.
