The School of Engineering can claim dual-threat Ole Miss Rebels quarterback John Rhys Plumlee as one of its own. The freshman from Hattiesburg is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
In seven starts and one relief appearance as of Nov. 17, Plumlee had rushed for 789 yards and 11 touchdowns. He ran for 212 yards and four rushing touchdowns against LSU, garnering him SEC Freshman of the Week for the third time this season.
He is also slated to play outfield for the Ole Miss baseball team this spring.
