OXFORD, Miss. – Thanks to a generous donation from Sodexo, the Ole Miss Food Bank will be able to serve an additional 300 hungry students.

Sodexo, which employs 53 people on the Ole Miss campus, has made multiple donations to the Food Bank, including the computer used by volunteers and lunch cards for patrons. The company plans to give gifts of up to $300 to the Food Bank each month.

“We are extremely happy to be helping students with the Food Bank,” said Sodexo General Manager Ron Rickabaugh. “There are many underprivileged students across campus that don’t have access to these supplies and Sodexo is glad to help. I hope this will grow to become a much larger endeavor in the future.”

The Ole Miss Food Bank is located in Kinard Hall and is open every Monday and Wednesday from 4 – 6 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. For more information on how to donate or volunteer, visit their website.
