OXFORD, Miss. – This month, Small Business Development Centers from around the country are coming together for one special day to celebrate their work, impact and, most importantly, their clients: America’s small businesses.
Since 1981, the Mississippi Small Business Development Centers have helped aspiring and emerging small business owners achieve the American dream of entrepreneurship. Gov. Phil Bryant has proclaimed March 20 as Mississippi SBDC Day.
“We will be at the Mississippi Capitol Wednesday, March 20th, to thank our state senators and legislators in person for their continued support of our program,” said Sharon Nichols, MSBDC state director. “Their crucial support allows us to assist our fellow Mississippians make their dreams of business ownership come true, support their families and provide the jobs that are the backbone of our state economy.”
SBDC Day is a national movement to help share the small business success stories and notable impact Small Business Development Centers have fostered in communities nationwide.
