Representatives of the University of Mississippi Medical Center and the Mayo Clinic on Tuesday signed an agreement to broaden and deepen their collaboration in clinical trials, other medical research, and education. Taking part in the signing at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota were (from left) Dr. Robert Rizza, Mayo Clinic liaison for the collaboration; Dr. Dan Jones, University of Mississippi chancellor; Dr. James Keeton, UMMC vice chancellor for health affairs and dean of the School of Medicine; Dr. LouAnn Woodward, UMMC associate vice chancellor for health affairs and vice dean of the School of Medicine; Dr. Richard Summers, UMMC associate vice chancellor for research; Dr. Gregory Gores, Mayo Clinic executive dean for research; Scott Kaese, Mayo Clinic operations administrator for research; and Steven C.
