OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss’ 2014 season opener against Boise State on Thursday, Aug. 28 will kick off at 8 p.m. ET/7 CT and be televised by ESPN, the network announced Wednesday.
The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, which will start the 2014 college football season, will be played in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome.
Ole Miss’ first two games of the 2014 season will be played at NFL stadiums. The Georgia Dome is home to the Atlanta Falcons, while LP Field (site of the Sept. 6 SEC opener vs. Vanderbilt) is home to the Tennessee Titans.
Ole Miss and Boise State will meet in football for the first time. The Rebels will begin their season on a Thursday for the second straight year. They defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores 39-35 in a thrilling come-from-behind effort last year in Nashville.
