OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss women’s basketball team will partner with Baptist Hospital to present is annual “Tickled Pink at the Tad Pad” game on Thursday Feb. 20 when the Rebels host Texas A&M at 6 p.m.

Ole Miss fans are encouraged to wear pink and also bring back their “Tickled Pink” piggy banks filled with change. Those fans that bring back their piggy bank will receive free admission.  All proceeds from the piggy banks will go to Baptist Hospital.

There will be free admission for all Baptist Hospital North employees as well as employees of the Baptist Cancer Center and Baptist cancer groups. Additionally, there will be various giveaways from Baptist Hospital with a pink theme. Pink chap stick, pink fingernail files, women’s health test bookmarks and self-breast exam shower hangers are some of the featured giveaways.The Rebels, who are participating in a pink game for the sixth consecutive season, will also wear special pink uniforms and shoes for the game.

There will be several initiatives taking place during Ole Miss’ game against Texas A&M:
Silent Auction – Fans will have the chance to bid on gift baskets with all proceeds going to benefit the North MS Baptist Cancer Center.

Online Auction for Game-Worn Pink Jerseys – Fans will have a chance to bid on game-worn pink jerseys from the Ole Miss women’s basketball team. The online auction will open Feb.  13 and will close on Feb 27. The link to the auction can be found at OleMissSports.com.

Cancer Survivor Guest Coaches– The Ole Miss women’s basketball team will have several cancer survivors serve as guest coaches for the day’s game.

Twitter – Fans are encouraged to use the Twitter Hashtag #RebsWearPink and tweet @OleMissWBB during the game to share their own cancer stories or to tweet in honor or memory of a loved one who has battled any type of cancer. Select tweets will scroll on the video board throughout the game.
