The University of Mississippi is focused not only on providing an excellent education to its students, but also on working to engage and help the surrounding community.
The Ole Miss family is involved in community service in many ways. Our student-athletes often visit local elementary schools. We have grant programs through the university that build gardens for elementary schools.
And our alternative spring break program allows students to give back to less fortunate communities. Ole Miss also has a partnership with United Way.

Those are just a sample of the university’s community involvement. No matter the cause, Ole Miss makes sure the surrounding community is engaged and assisted while teaching students to give back.
And for that, we are thankful.
