Grove Bowl Week, Rebel Road Trip Headline Ole Miss April

OXFORD, Miss. – April will be the month of the Rebels, as Ole Miss has festivities set for Grove Bowl Week (April 16-22) and the inaugural Rebel Road Trip, which includes 16 meetings in six days (April 23-28).

Among the events of Grove Bowl Week are the Chucky Mullins Courage Award Banquet on Thursday, April 19; a free concert in The Grove with Gavin DeGraw and special guest Craig Morgan on Friday, April 20; a weekend baseball series against Arkansas and the BancorpSouth Grove Bowl intrasquad football scrimmage on Saturday, April 21.

Among the special guests on campus for Grove Bowl Week will be Ole Miss great Eli Manning, who will take part in several events including an NFL panel discussion with other former Rebels Saturday morning on the Grove Stage.

As Grove Bowl Week wraps up, Ole Miss head football coach Hugh Freeze and new athletics director Ross Bjork will hit the highways on Monday, April 23 for an extensive tour of the state and surrounding areas with the Rebel Road Trip. The caravan will feature morning, midday and evening fan meetings in cities across the region during the week before culminating Saturday, April 28 in Oxford at the Double Decker Arts Festival.

Additional events of Grove Bowl Week include a Rebel softball doubleheader with Kentucky on Wednesday, April 18 and the SEC Women’s Tennis Tournament April 19-22 at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center/Galtney Courts.
