The Oxford, Tupelo and Booneville campuses of the University of Mississippi will close at noon today, and classes scheduled at noon and later are canceled. Due to winter weather and icy conditions, the UM DeSoto campus is closed all day.
Weather-related, essential personal should remain on campus or report. Food services will still be available for those who live on campus.
Weather conditions are expected to worsen. Please check weather and road conditions before traveling.
University administrators will continue to monitor the weather conditions. If there is further change to the university’s schedule as a result of the weather, notifications will be posted on the Ole Miss Web site, will be sent using e-mail and text messaging, and will be available at 662-915-1040.
