The M-Club is a really beautiful place. I recently had an opportunity to walk through the hallowed halls, which are lined with photos and memorabilia that tell the story of Ole Miss athletics accomplishments throughout the school’s history. This gathering, however, was to honor outstanding alumni and students from the Ole Miss MBA program.
Dean Ken Cyree welcomed the nearly 100 guests, including Jeffrey Conley, recipient of the 2014 Distinguished Alumnus Award. Conley, who obtained his bachelor of business administration in 1975 and his MBA in 1977, was also a member of the 1972 college world series’ Rebel baseball team. Conley received his award Thursday night, June 19, just hours before this year’s Rebels beat TCU in a nail-biting match up to advance to the final four of the CWS.
