The fall semester is right around the corner and the Ole Miss Student Activity Association is excited to get Welcome Week under way. For incoming freshmen, this is a great way to get involved and meet new people as soon as you step on campus. The events begin Thursday and will run through Thursday, Aug. 28.
Some events worth checking out include:
· Grove-In Movie Series, Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the Grove stage (If there’s rain, event moves to Turner Center). Free pizza provided by Papa John’s.
· Welcome Home concert Friday, Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. at the Grove stage
· Grove-In Movie series Sunday, Aug. 24 at 8:30 p.m. at the Grove stage
· Welcome Back Day, Monday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Student Union Plaza
· Fall Convocation, Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Tad Smith Coliseum
· Get Involved Fair Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Circle
· Ole Miss vs. Boise State football game screening in the Grove at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28
Ole Miss Welcome Week will include many more activities during the week and we encourage you to get involved in as much as possible. From laser tag to ball pits, there won’t be a dull moment.
