In 2009, Dan Jones was named the 16th chancellor of this great university.
We are very thankful for all he has accomplished in his five years at Ole Miss.
Jones is responsible for many things that have advanced the university, including a construction and renovation boom that will give Ole Miss new academic and athletics facilities and an action plan to promote diversity across the school’s campuses.

Also under direction of Jones, enrollment has increased 26 percent and donations have topped $100 million for three straight years.
We are so thankful that Jones is dedicated to this university and we keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers as he undergoes treatment for lymphoma at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
