By becoming an Ole Miss Social Media Ambassador, students have the opportunity to build on the knowledge they receive in a classroom setting by simultaneously applying it to real-world situations here at University Marketing and Communications. Former Social Media Ambassadors have gone on to work in higher-ed, at various brand agencies, marketing departments for an array of non-profits, and more. Others chose to attend graduate school and went on to receive masters degrees, MBAs, etc. Regardless of what an SMA chooses to do after graduation, the time in our office gives them one foot in the door before they even arrive.
