Each year, the University of Mississippi’s National PanHellenic Council hosts the annual Homecoming step show, which debuts elaborate performances by sororities and fraternities in NPHC.
Each organization preforming will present a “step show” which consists of steps, skits and exciting role playing. The organizations will be judged by six alumni, one from each organization preforming; Noel Wilkin, associate provost; and Carolina Nutt, assistant director of admissions for enrollment services. The fraternity and sorority that win the step competition each receive $250, and the rest of the money raised will go toward events that NPHC will host throughout the year.
“This event continues to grow bigger every year, and I am excited to see the step show improve even more this year,” said Joe Curry, NPHC president.
The NPHC will host its annual Homecoming step show tomorrow (Oct. 17) at the Ford Center. The general admission doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7. Tickets are $10 at the Student Union Box Office and $15 at the door.
