Ken Murphy and Scott Barretta have collaborated on a coffee table book, Mississippi: State of the Blues (Murphy Publishing).
Q: Where did the idea for the book come from? A: Ken: The original idea came from me running into blues festivals and the Blues Trail while working on my last book, Mississippi. I first contemplated shooting all the Blues Trail markers, but then John Evans of Lemuria suggested I take a different tack and work with Scott.
