weekdays or the Ford Center Box Office from noon to 4 p.m. weekdays.
Discount tickets for UM students, faculty, staff and retirees are
available before the day of the performance.

The Ford Center staff and volunteers look forward to again welcoming “our audiences for another year of great performances,” said Ford Center director Norm Easterbrook.

“This is an exciting year for the Ford Center. Many individuals have worked hard to make sure that the center can stage a performance so quickly in the wake of the presidential debate, and we are grateful.”

Born in Seoul, Korea, and educated at Juilliard in New York City, the members of The Ahn Trio, sisters Maria, Lucia and Angella, are redefining the art and architecture of chamber music, with commissioned works from visionary composers such as Kenji Bunch, Maurice Jarre, Nikolai Kapustin and Michael Nyman.

The trio have fused their work with that of dancers, pop singers, DJs, painters, installation artists, photographers, lighting designers, ecologists and even kite makers. Most recently, they performed live at the Czech Grammys with the Tata Bojs and received critical acclaim for their collaborative project with the David Parsons Dance Company.

“The trio has come into its own in the chamber music genre and has excited new interest in chamber music not only for those new to it but also for those quite familiar with the form,” Easterbrook said.
