OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss opens its first spring football drills under head coach Hugh Freeze this weekend, and fans are welcomed to attend the first two practices.
A total of four practices are open to the public, including this Friday at 3:30 p.m. CT and Saturday at 10:30 a.m., and both workouts are tentatively planned for the practice fields. Other open practices are set for Saturday, Mar. 31 and Saturday, Apr. 14.

Use of cellular phones and cameras are prohibited for fans at practice, and fans must remain in the designated area. When the team practices outdoors, fans are not allowed between the practice fields.

The Rebels’ spring drills will culminate with the annual BancorpSouth Grove Bowl, slated for Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. CSS will televise the intra-squad scrimmage live.
Other events of Grove Bowl Week are the Rebels’ Choice Awards on Monday, April 16; the Chucky Mullins Award Banquet Banquet on Thursday, April 19; a free concert in The Grove with Gavin DeGraw and special guest Craig Morgan on Friday, April 20 and a weekend baseball series against Arkansas.
Among the special guests on campus for Grove Bowl Week will be Ole Miss great Eli Manning, who will take part in several events including an NFL Panel Discussion with other former Rebels Saturday morning on the Grove Stage.
Additional events of Grove Bowl Week include a Rebel softball doubleheader with Kentucky on Wednesday, April 18 and the SEC Women’s Tennis Tournament April 19-22 at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center/Galtney Courts.
