OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss senior Marshall Henderson has been selected to compete in the State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships Thursday at Moody Coliseum on the SMU campus in Dallas.
Henderson, the SEC single-season 3 point record holder, is among eight men’s and eight women’s 3-point shooters selected to compete in the event, which is held in conjunction with the men’s NCAA Final Four. The slam dunk championship portion of the competition will also feature eight of the top dunkers in the nation.
The State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships will be televised nationally on ESPN on Thursday night, April 3, from 8 pm-10 pm leading into Final Four weekend, and will air several additional times throughout the weekend. Past participants and champions who went on to play in the NBA include Steve Nash, Gary Payton, Kyle Korver, Steve Novak, Dahntay Jones, Jason Maxiell, and Isaiah Canaan among others.
