Identical twins and UM alumni, Kat and Margaret King, entertained a huge crowd at their book-signing for their book “Our Josephine” on July 1. “Our Josephine” is a memoir written from a nine-year-old’s perspective that focuses on the twin’s personal memories of life and race relations in Vicksburg in 1957. The story highlights their relationship with a young African-American woman named Josephine who was their great grandmother’s caregiver. Josephine (pictured on left) was in attendance and smiled as the twins formally introduced her through a humorous rap.
