UM Students Initiated Into Phi Kappa Phi

OXFORD, Miss. — The University of Mississippi’s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi welcomed 119 new members in an initiation ceremony April 12 at the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts. Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest, largest and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines. Membership is based on a student’s sound character and academic standing. Juniors must have completed 72 credit hours and rank in the top 7.5 percent of their class, while seniors and graduate students must rank in the top 10 percent of their class.
